Louis J. Braun is the Chief Executive Officer of Gateway Consulting, Inc., a company that has an exclusive license from The City University of New York to exploit a patented technology where waste material, including sewage sludge, animal manure, oil sludge, and highly corrosive metal sludge, is converted into activated carbon adsorbents capable of filtering and sequestering pollutants, toxins, pathogens and other contaminants from both air and liquid steams. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics and a law degree. He practices commercial and corporate law, and has authored peer reviewed articles which have appeared in the Duke Mathematical Journal, the Hastings Law Journal, and the Utah Law Review.
